The visit to Wanigela ward filled my heart with peace, gratitude and great satisfaction. I saw a village that demonstrated oneness and UNITY that that touched my heart.
Traveled the Magi highway to Kupiano on Sunday, spent the night at Kupiano station and traveled by dinghy to Wanigela ward the next morning.
A pleasant surprise awaited us at Wanigela village. A canoe manned by 3x women with paddles waited at the entrance of the village and asked that I leave the dinghy to join them in the canoe. They paddled the canoe to the new footbridge which served as a wharf at the end towards the sea.
The people stood and sat on their verandahs waving and cheering as we entered the village. A truly unique site.
A blessing indeed to end 2024 with a visit to Wanigela village.
